David H. Fisher Jr. is an author that’s been active since 1985. The main focus of his writing has been weight loss. You see, Dave was a competitive swimmer in high school and college. Several years after starting a family his in-laws invited Dave and his family to go swimming. When he put on his swimming suit he was so embarrassed that he swam with his t-shirt on hoping no one would notice how much weight he’d gained. That was the motivation he needed to lose weight and keep it off. It took him nearly two years trying many weight loss methods until he discovered a few key things. The first was to focus on the scale. He found that if he weighed himself every single day, it was easier to keep track. This made it easier to set goals that he could hold himself accountable for. If the scale tipped in the wrong direction, he knew to adjust his eating habits until it fell again. He also dove deep into learning about nutrition. But to Dave, the most important thing he learned was to think like the people think who control their weight so he could produce a similar result.
